The Peach State Pro Tour announces many exciting changes for the upcoming season. Hopkins Golf Company, the title sponsor of the tour, will take over the naming rights for the tour. The new tour name will now be The Hopkins Golf Pro Tour.

Hopkins Golf Company will bring a national presence to the tour allowing us to increase our overall exposure in the developmental golf world. Company CEO Greg Hopkins has over two decades of experience running Cleveland Golf Company, pioneering them to the number one wedge company in the world in the nineties.

Their marketing strategy for the new business is brilliant and our tour will benefit from the growth of Hopkins Golf and their ability to help us bring in sponsor money. In addition to the name change, The Hopkins Golf Tour announces several changes to the tour format and many exciting benefits for the players:

Guaranteed Purses - The Hopkins Golf Tour will conduct 19 events during the 2014 season.

12 events will be (3) day, 54 hole events with a cut to the low 35% and ties after two rounds. The purse for these events will be guaranteed at $65,000, regardless of field size. The field size will be limited to 100 players.

6 events will be (4) day, 72 hole events with a cut to the low 35% and ties after two rounds. The purse for these events will be guaranteed at $75,000, regardless of field size. The field size will be limited to 100 players.

Web.com Exemptions – The Hopkins Golf Tour will have exemptions for 2014 web.com tournaments. The tour has already secured one exemption and is working on additional exemptions.  The tour will create a points race for members to compete for these exemptions.

$50,000 Bonus Event – The top 40 members in a season long points race will be entered into the season ending Bonus Event. A purse a $50,000 will be paid in this 54 hole, no cut event. All 40 players will earn money in this event.  There is no entry fee for qualifiers.

Q-School Reimbursement- The Hopkins Golf Tour will provide Q-School reimbursement for the top 5 members for the 2014 tour season.

Hopkins Golf Tour member Ambassador Program- Tour members will be permitted to join the Hopkins Golf Company ambassador program. Players will receive a 50% personal use discount on all Hopkins Golf Equipment and will receive a 15% commission on any sales of equipment. The tour is creating a “Help Sponsor my Dream” program to help you raise money for your pro golf career…a first for developmental golf tours!

Membership and Entry Fees – The Hopkins Golf Tour will have the most affordable membership fees and entry fees of ANY developmental golf tour in the industry. Member entry will be $700 for 54 hole events and $800 for 72 hole events.  Membership Fees for the 2014 season are as follows:

Membership Fees for 2014 Season:

Prior to Oct 15, 2013 – The Hopkins Golf Tour will offer $500 memberships to the first 50 paid members. Note: Any members who subsequently succeed in the qualifying school and receive status on the web.com tour will be refunded 100% of their membership fee. Players earning non-exempt status will have the option of receiving a refund of their membership or continuing as a tour member.

After Oct 15 till Dec 15, 2013 – Tour Membership Fee- $750

After December 15, 2013 – Tour Membership Fee - $1,000
